About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating identity, relationships, anxiety, and intergenerational stress, especially within Asian and immigrant communities. My clients often feel stuck between cultures or weighed down by family expectations. Together, we explore your story with care and honesty, so you can reconnect with your values and move forward with clarity. Therapy doesn’t have to be stiff or formal—it can be a space to breathe, reflect, and grow.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed therapist with experience supporting individuals and couples through life transitions, cultural identity questions, trauma, anxiety, and relationship struggles. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, while also honoring the cultural and personal stories that shape who we are. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and gentle — I believe in meeting people where they are and creating a space where they feel truly seen. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you — it’s about rediscovering your voice, making sense of your experiences, and building a life that feels more like your own.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in the context of safety, trust, and belonging. As an Asian American woman, I’m deeply invested in decolonizing mental health and creating spaces where people of color, immigrants, and marginalized folks can show up as their full selves — no code-switching required. I care about social justice, accessibility in care, and honoring intergenerational wisdom. Outside of therapy, I find joy in community, food, and storytelling, the small rituals that keep us connected to ourselves and each other.
