About My Clients
Due to my extensive experience working with family systems, I am highly skilled in understanding complex families and interpersonal relationships. I am able to successfully work with individuals from families who needed family therapy but never sought it out. Understanding your family's dynamic and how it affected you can liberate you from repeating unhealthy patterns and allows for more fulfilling relationships. You can secure a healthier future by resolving intergenerational trauma.
My Background and Approach
I have had the privilege of being supervised and working with excellent mental health professionals in prestigious teaching hospitals as well as seeing thousands of patients over the course of my career in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I believe these experiences have influenced my development as a skilled diagnostician as well as psychotherapist. I consistently seek continuing education to deepen my knowledge base and refine my skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal experiences as an immigrant and Korean American and my training as a social worker have invariably influenced me socially, politically, culturally, and professionally.
