My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Counselor Education from The Ohio State University. I have over 3 years of experience as a career counselor at San Francisco State University and Ohio State University, as well as 4 years of experience with mental health counseling in private practice. I view therapy as a collaborative process, grounded in non-judgmental, authentic exploration of clients’ lives. I believe that my role is to offer guidance, reflection, and support to empower your innate ability to heal and grow. I draw from a variety of trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, somatic, and interpersonal theories with an existential and multicultural/feminist lens.
