About My Clients
I work collaboratively with clients from diverse backgrounds to identify goals that reflect their unique needs. I support individuals who are ready to explore barriers and engage in meaningful change. Together, we examine how family, culture, and broader systems have shaped their beliefs and coping patterns, helping clients build self-understanding, strengthen self-efficacy, and live more congruently with their values.
My Background and Approach
I take a collaborative, client-centered approach and tailor our work to your unique needs and goals. I have extensive experience supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, identity development, and concerns related to race and sexuality, among other challenges. I work with individuals, couples, and families through a systemic lens that honors how relationships and environments shape our lived experiences. My goal is to create a thoughtful, supportive space that reduces blame, deepens self-understanding, and fosters meaningful, lasting change. I offer traditional psychotherapy, time-limited concierge work, coaching, and AAMFT-approved clinical supervision so our work can remain flexible, intentional, and grounded in genuine connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a gay, Black, biracial man who has spent the past 15 years advocating for the rights and well-being of others through various civil rights and social justice efforts. My work has supported the advancement of people of color, women’s rights, healthcare justice, housing equity, fair and equitable law enforcement, and education access. These experiences meaningfully inform my clinical perspective and deepen my commitment to creating affirming, culturally responsive spaces where clients feel seen, respected and supported.
