About My Clients
I enjoy working with teens and adults, especially women. I am interested in helping you address issues such as anxiety, depression, low self esteem, health related concerns, body image and trauma. You are the expert on your life and I am here to partner with you find the healing you need and deserve.
My Background and Approach
I invite you to a warm, inviting space where you are able to show your full self. I tend to use a holistic and integrative approach. Your sessions are your time and I will meet you where you’re at while providing a therapist viewpoint. I pull from person centered, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral and acceptance and commitment theories. Above all, I use a strength based and compassionate focused view. I specialize in assisting people with anxiety, depression, life transitions and trauma including religious trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person has the capacity to learn, grow and become a better version of themselves. Most of us did not grow up learning how to have a healthy relationship with themselves and this is a major barrier to personal growth. Once we are able to have compassion for that younger self and accept where we are without shame and judgment, this helps free us to move to a more whole and improved version of someone who we already are.
