About My Clients
My ideal client feels weighed down by unresolved trauma, OCD that traps them in doubt and ritual, or phobias that quietly shrink their world. They are tired of organizing life around fear and avoidance. They want a place to breathe, speak honestly, and be met with steadiness. More than relief, they seek transformation. Driven and willing to do difficult inner work, they are ready to confront hard truths, break entrenched cycles, and reclaim vitality and a grounded sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I’m trained in EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with experience working across a wide range of concerns, especially trauma and addiction. My clinical foundation is rooted in an existential-humanistic orientation, which means I see symptoms not just as problems to eliminate, but as signals pointing toward meaning, identity, and agency. I integrate evidence-based treatments with a deep respect for each person’s capacity to choose, to grow, and to confront difficult truths. Therapy with me is both practical and reflective—focused on real change, not just insight.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are fundamentally resilient. Suffering is not an anomaly to eliminate, but an existential reality to confront and learn from. Healing requires personal responsibility—the willingness to face discomfort within the safety of a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe meaning is both discovered and created, and that therapy must be both supportive and challenging. I have deep respect for the weight of what people have endured, and I gently challenge the idea that their pain is the whole story of who they are. Change asks courage—and I believe most people are capable of it.
