About My Clients

Do you feel like your past still has a hold on your present? Maybe you're constantly anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or caught in patterns you can't seem to break. Whether you're living with trauma, PTSD, addiction, or the emotional toll of chronic pain or illness, you don't have to carry it alone. Healing is possible, and together we'll work toward lasting relief—not just learning to cope, but truly moving forward.

My Background and Approach

My approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens when you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. I know from lived experience that trauma recovery is possible, which is why I approach every client with empathy, hope, and compassion. While learning practical coping skills is important, I also believe lasting change comes from addressing the root causes of distress—not just managing symptoms. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain heal from the effects of trauma and other distressing life experiences. When clinically appropriate, I also incorporate Sand Tray Therapy to access experiences that may be difficult to express with words, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen coping skills, emotion regulation, and resilience. My goal is to help you move beyond survival and create a life marked by greater peace, freedom, and hope.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing is possible for everyone, no matter how long you've been struggling or how stuck you may feel. Our minds and bodies are incredibly resilient, and many of the symptoms we experience—anxiety, trauma responses, or even addictive behaviors—developed as ways to survive difficult experiences. If they were learned in response to pain, they can also be healed. My own lived experience has shaped the therapist I am today. I know what it's like to face difficult seasons, and I also know the hope that comes from doing the work of healing. That experience allows me to sit with clients not only as a therapist, but as someone who truly believes change is possible. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, accepted, and never judged. My hope is that you'll feel comfortable enough to bring your whole self into the room—the messy parts, the hopeful parts, and everything in between. I genuinely love getting to know people, finding their strengths, and helping them rediscover the
