About My Clients
At Steady Steps Counseling, we work with individuals ages 16 and older who are navigating life’s challenges, seeking support, or ready to make meaningful changes. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply looking for a better understanding of yourself, we’re here to help. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take your next step forward.
My Background and Approach
At Steady Steps Counseling, our clinicians bring diverse clinical backgrounds and professional expertise to provide thoughtful, individualized care. Our team includes Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) with experience supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges. Our varied clinical backgrounds allow us to draw from different perspectives and evidence-based approaches, ensuring that care is tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and experiences. Our approach is shaped by a blend of professional training and a personal understanding of how complex challenges can impact one’s life. We strive to create a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered throughout their journey. Your story is unique—and your care should be, too.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as your full self—without having to have everything figured out first. Life can be complicated, and sometimes the path forward is less about finding the “right” answer and more about understanding what you need, what matters to you, and what you want your life to look like. At Steady Steps Counseling, we value authenticity, connection, curiosity, and growth. We believe clients are the experts in their own lives, and therapy works best when it is a collaborative process built on trust and respect. We also believe that progress looks different for everyone. Sometimes it means making a major change, and sometimes it means recognizing a small shift that others may never see. There is value in every step forward.
