About My Clients

My clientele of focus have been mostly sexual & gender identity minorities (queer, trans, gay/lesbian, bi, ace), as well as relational identity minorities (poly, CNM/ENM, open, monogamish, and RA). I’ve worked with straight and cis clients, as well as queer and trans clients, on talking about sex and navigating differences in desires and kinks. My vision for clients is or them to uncover and develop strength alongside vulnerability, as we move through these difficulties and impasses together.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded primarily in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, which allows me to honor each person’s unique inner world. By combining a respectful, collaborative stance with a parts-based framework, I am able to meet clients where they are at, and work effectively to resolve and untangle internal conflict and tension. I incorporate somatic therapy into my work to foster a wholistic, bodymind approach, and to ground change into clients’ lived experiences.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Actively acknowledging race, gender and culture in the therapy room is deeply important to me and central to my work. It is vital to my therapeutic relationships that my clients feel totally empowered to acknowledge differences in lived experiences from me, as well as from one another.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
