I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 17 years experience working with military members and families, LGBTQ+, marginalized populations, culture, diversity and inclusion, women’s issues, communications and sexual disorders. I work with anxiety, depression, grief, self esteem, life transition and adjustment concerns.
My Background and Approach
I believe while life’s challenges provide us an opportunity to persevere in situations, behaviors may result as a way to meet that need or situation. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused, Trauma Informed, Inclusive, Motivational Interviewing approaches. The approach is unique to the client. I am licensed in the states of California, Hawaii and Virginia.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
