I am a white cis woman married to a Filipino cis man, mother of two kids, and a LGBTQIA-affirmative therapist.
My experience includes working with caregivers and their young children, and with womxn, genderqueer, and nonbinary folx to address anxiety, depression, work, relationships, and family issues. I have been a student of Buddhist insight meditation for fifteen years and have led parenting groups on mindfulness, attachment, and bonding with your newborn. My undergraduate degree is in cultural anthropology and gender studies.
My approach is compassionate, somatic, mindful, and informed by attachment theory and childhood development as well as a recognition of how we are shaped by social systems. I am inspired by a depth approach to human experience, and support you in finding your own inner knowing.
