About My Clients

My experience is working primarily with folks dealing with grief, depression and compulsive anxiety. I also work with teenagers, particularly needing to process the impact of Covid-19, lack of motivation and social anxiety.

My Background and Approach

My approach is through building a relationship of trust that allows my clients to share and process the pain or discomfort that is bringing them into therapy. Shame is often the barrier that keeps us from talking about our struggle and it is my hope and belief that when shame is brought to the light, it has to die. I offer different tools in session, including mindfulness and art exercises, but primarily let my sessions be focused on what my clients bring with them, after all, you are the expert on you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that it is never too late to begin therapy. Whether you're 16 or 99, there is always more to learn about yourself and the people around you. I emphasize healthy relationships, believing that we need positive relationships with ourselves and with others in order to truly thrive.
