You are the expert in your life and experiences. Your life is a mosaic of learnings that have informed you what to expect from the world, what is expected from you and much more. You get the final say on what is appropriate for you. I work with individuals and partnerships in person or virtually. I embrace inclusivity for gender expression, sexual orientation, and body equality.
My Background and Approach
I have spent more years than not curious and learning about human behavior. As a systems based therapist I love exploring the different components to our lives that inform us of expectations and influence our behaviors. I find that having a collaborative experience in the room is comfortable and exploratory. We will work together to get an understanding of what behaviors or thought patterns feel authentic and which aren't. I have been trained in Relational Life Therapy and continue to attend trainings to broaden my knowledge of techniques for relationship and individual work. All to create a space where you are supported and safe.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am affirming of all identities and believe everyone deserves to be heard with compassion. We are not doomed to repeat our patterns and can learn past those that do not serve us. Exploring ourselves and relationships in therapy can empower us to enable change. I am privileged to be allowed to hear your story. Our space together is non-judgmental, unbiased, and curious. While not in session I love all things spooky, traveling, live music, dancing, and being with my most cherished people (and the two cats I am servant to).
