About My Clients

Anxiety getting in your way? That anxiety that can keep you up at night, that has you worrying and fills your head with “What ifs" and has your head spinning and feeling overwhelmed. That anxiety that can create tension in your physical body and can cause you to have trouble concentrating. That anxiety that causes great self-criticism and sometimes has you feeling like you are not enough or not worthy. I am invested in guiding you to develop better coping mechanisms and self-awareness.

My Background and Approach

You will feel empowered to take control of your life and symptoms. So you will face challenges with better more effective coping skills and a stronger sense of self. I am a professional and have many tools in my toolbox that I have learned and continue to learn to best help adult individuals who want relief from anxiety. We will create goals and identify your values so you can go in the direction with your life that you dream- it may be improved relationships, increased self-esteem, everyday stress reduction, finding root causes, overcoming past trauma, and progressing past negative thought patterns. I teach individuals to identify triggers and patterns and ways to approach over-thinking and anxiety; To recognize your strengths and what motivates you. I use tools from (not limited to) CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS, Neuroscience, Humanistic, Memory Reconsolidation, Guided Imagery, Positive Psychology, Relaxation and Mindfulness, and I am a certified anxiety treatment provider. It does get better.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe we are all worthy and can be moving towards who we want to be in this life. We have the way we grew up, we have things we are born with, we have experiences we encounter through our lives, and we like to make meanings. We are not destined to any of these. I believe we can make change in our life through awareness first, and from there we can decide what we want and how we want to be. Our brains have neuroplasticity, the ability to change, and our bodies are miraculous in how it can heal. We can take charge and make behavioral as well as mental shifts from the ways that no longer serve us- old patterns we learned along the way. This has also manifested as anxiety for me and it runs in my family. I know first hand that it takes awareness and purposeful effort and maybe our time together may be the beginning or along the way in your journey of living your life. Feel empowered to create a shift because what is good for you is good for those around you. Lets see if we are a fit!
