About My Clients
You are the expert in your life. My role is to help you identify, clarify, achieve your goals... and beyond! Your goal could be to feel less anxious or less depressed by identifying and building effective coping skills and looking at your thought patterns. You do not have to feel anxious, stressed, or stuck. You can choose how you respond rather than reacting. Maybe you can feel present, relaxed and mindful if you desire.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor experienced with youth and adults; individuals with trauma, depression, and anxiety. I encourage individuals to identify their strengths and build upon them, to focus on their goals and encourage the use of healthy and positive habits and coping skills to create the desired outcome.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe our strength is in our individuality and our power is in the ability to be authentic and true to ourselves while being kind. Our biggest limitation is to use our imagination for the things which we do not want and to believe all of the criticism we hear. People learn from feedback but are at risk of becoming labeled by society.
