About My Clients

I view each client as more than a "client." They are people, like me, who want to feel valuable and lovable and to live a fulfilling life. In that way, we are all quite similar and there is connection and compassion in that.

My Background and Approach

I have a great deal of experience and training working with all addiction issues, as well as more common struggles of anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. I strive to create an equal and connection-based relationship with my clients. I also use humor and candor to help my clients progress and heal. I am also a life coach for those who are not interested in the more traditional therapies. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology that helps me understand the mind. From my social work graduate studies, I bring in more social connection and emotional components to counseling. I feel this understanding between both sciences allows me to help people change in a more well-rounded way. I have treated clients from young to aged adults with a spectrum of concerns and feel qualified to treat a variety of issues. I strive to ensure my clients feel that they matter and have great value in society and in their relationships.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I personally believe that everyone matters, has value and this motivates me to help people have good self esteem. I want people to feel happy in the most content way possible no matter their circumstances and environments. I do believe people can have joy and contentment even when things in their life are not "going their way" or happening as the would like.
