About My Clients
My practice focuses on those experience depression, anxiety, and trauma. Navigating daily life, relationships, parenting, and life transitions can feel overwhelming and isolating. The goal of our work together is not just to reduce symptoms, but to help you know yourself better. I believe you already have the inner wisdom to navigate life's difficulties - my role is to empower you to get to that place.
My Background and Approach
My approach is relational and based on your needs and experiences. I draw from complementary theories to meet you where you are. We may utilize attachment theory to better understand how your relationships have shaped your current patterns, somatic practices to help you connect with and trust your body, or parts work to help you understand and reflect on how your past experiences are contributing to beliefs and emotions that may have made sense in the past, but are no longer serving you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is rooted in my experiences as a social worker, parent, and woman. My background providing advocacy for sexual assault survivors and working with children, youth, and families has given me unique insight into how we as individuals are impacted by the systems and environments we live in. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities, and strive to provide affirming and culturally sensitive care. You are the expert on your life; my job is to walk alongside you with warmth, honesty, and curiosity. It can be a big step to start therapy - whether for the first time or with a new therapist - and I look forward to embarking on this meaningful work with you!
