I specialize in working with queer, transgender, and non-binary folks, as well as women, with a focus on sexuality, gender, intimacy, relationships, and identity. I work with adults as well as LGBTQIA+ couples or those in “non-traditional” relationships. My practice is LGBTQIA+-celebratory, neurodivergent-affirming, sex-positive, non-monogamy-affirming, kink-aware, and sex worker-affirming.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I create a warm, compassionate space for clients who want to discover and connect with who they really are. Whether you are seeking to uncover a more authentic, grounded sense of self; explore new or evolving aspects of your gender or sexual identity; foster a deeper sense of embodiment; strengthen your skills for navigating boundaries or communication; or otherwise improve your relationship with self and others, I will walk alongside you as a non-judgmental, empowering ally in your process of growth, healing, and self-exploration. I know you are the expert on your experience, and I consider myself a guide and collaborator on your journey.
My therapeutic approach is anchored in an exploration of the nervous system and the relationship between our bodies, thoughts, and emotions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the importance of naming and addressing the impacts of oppressive systems and intersecting identities in the therapy process, and that with this holistic understanding, therapy has the potential to move us towards deeper community connection and collective liberation. You may find me a good fit if you want a therapist who engages with you on a human-to-human, relational level; who offers warmth, openness, and realness; and who is active and collaborative in sessions. If you think we may be a good fit, I would love to chat with you, and I offer free 15-minute phone consultations to potential clients.
