About My Clients
Are you longing for deeper connection—with yourself, your partner, or your own body? Do you find yourself repeating relationship patterns, struggling with trust, intimacy, communication, or feeling truly seen and understood? I work with individuals and couples navigating attachment wounds, trauma, intimacy challenges, and relationship struggles. Together, we’ll explore the deeper roots of these patterns, strengthen your connection with yourself and others, and create space for more authenticity.
My Background and Approach
I bring a unique blend of clinical training, neuroscience, and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection into my work with clients. With a background in neuroscience and clinical mental health counseling, I approach therapy through both a scientific and deeply human lens. I believe our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and physical experiences are interconnected, and healing requires attention to the whole person. My approach integrates EMDR, somatic therapy, and depth psychology to help clients explore the deeper roots of their struggles. Together, we’ll look at the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that have shaped you while creating new pathways for growth, regulation, and connection. I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and feelings of disconnection from themselves. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Before becoming a therapist, I spent five years working full-time as an activist in Washington, D.C., advocating for climate action, women’s rights, and greater equity and inclusion. This work deeply shaped the way I understand people, systems, and the importance of creating spaces where every person feels valued, respected, and heard. My experiences in advocacy taught me the power of compassion, curiosity, and listening to stories that are often overlooked. I carry these values into my therapy practice by creating a space where clients can show up authentically and explore their experiences without judgment. I believe healing is both personal and collective. While therapy is a deeply individual journey, I also recognize the impact that culture, relationships, and larger systems can have on our mental health and sense of belonging. I strive to offer an affirming, inclusive space where clients feel empowered to reconnect with themselves, their values, and the lives they want to create.
