About My Clients
My ideal client is someone navigating life transitions while feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their sense of self. They may struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, or relationship challenges, and find themselves wanting deeper understanding, balance, or connection. Whether they are adjusting to change, setting boundaries, or exploring patterns in relationships, they are open to reflection and growth and seeking a supportive space to feel heard and understood.
My Background and Approach
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you are seeking a better therapeutic fit, I strive to create a safe, supportive space for exploration and growth. Beginning therapy can feel intimidating and unsettling, and my goal is to make this transition as smooth and grounding as possible. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness to meet you where you are and tailor our work to your unique needs. At the core of my work is the belief that feeling truly heard, seen, and understood is essential to a meaningful therapeutic relationship. I am currently a graduate student at Vanderbilt University, continuing to develop my clinical skills under supervision. I bring curiosity, care, and intention into the therapeutic space, and I am genuinely excited to grow and learn alongside you as we navigate your therapeutic journey together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of our work together is the understanding that we are both human in this space. I view well-being as multidimensional, encompassing mental, emotional, physical, financial, social, occupational, environmental, and spiritual health. Each of these areas can influence how we experience ourselves and the world around us. I honor that every person brings their own lived experiences into therapy, and I would never assume to fully understand what you have been through. Instead, my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, respect, and compassion. I strive to advocate for my clients while inviting them to speak up if something doesn’t feel right, honoring their voice as central to the therapeutic process I want to offer support as you navigate your mental health journey in a way that feels authentic and empowering to you.
