About My Clients
Are you in a season where everything feels heavier than you expected? Pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood can stir up anxiety, disconnection, and a quiet sense of “Why is this so hard?” Many of the people I work with are caring deeply for others while feeling untethered from themselves or their partners. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and feel more supported and connected again.
My Background and Approach
My work is relational and nervous-system-informed, which means we pay attention to how stress, transitions, and past experiences show up in both your body and your relationships. Rather than jumping straight into “fixing,” we slow things down to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and why it makes sense. In sessions, we’ll work collaboratively to build awareness, regulation, and connection, within yourself and with the people you care about. I draw from attachment-based, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients feel more grounded, supported, and able to respond rather than react. Therapy with me is warm, direct when needed, and always paced with your nervous system in mind.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are doing the best they can with the resources and support they have. Many of the struggles we face during pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting aren’t signs of failure, they’re understandable responses to stress, change, and unmet needs. I believe healing happens in the context of safety and relationship, not pressure or perfection. Therapy should be collaborative, non-judgmental, and paced with care. I value inclusivity and work affirmingly with LGBTQ+ individuals and families, honoring the many ways people build and experience family.
