About My Clients
Emotional exhaustion, masking, and a sense of disconnection often emerge after years of surviving rather than thriving. Shame, identity confusion, and task paralysis can show up in subtle or overwhelming ways—especially when navigating trauma, neurodivergence, or major life transitions. Therapy can provide a grounded space to make sense of these experiences and begin moving toward clarity, self-trust, and healing.
My Background and Approach
I have supported many clients with ADHD, autism, personality disorders, and others, in reducing overwhelm, improving emotional regulation, and building self-understanding—without pathologization of their lived experience. This work is especially resonant for those who feel stuck, misunderstood, or are searching for deeper understanding of patterns shaped by survival. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and flexible. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) principles, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy. Sessions are collaborative and paced with intention while centering relationship, insight, and empowerment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is grounded in the belief that therapy is not neutral. Therapy exists within social, cultural, and historical contexts. I approach therapy through a decolonial, anti-oppressive lens that affirms Black lives, Trans lives, racial justice, and personal autonomy. These values are at the core of our therapeutic process, as it shapes how I listen, respond, and hold space. I recognize the impact of systemic harm and honor each person's right to define themselves and their healing. In this space, lived experience is expertise and dignity is a non-negotiable.
