About My Clients

Please note: I am an out of network provider. I provide private pay telehealth services to clients residing in PsyPact states (https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap). I have a waitlist for insurance clients who live in Minnesota via a group practice. If you like the sound of living a life that is more connected with your values and where you feel more like yourself, I would be honored to partner with you and support you on your journey to whole-person wellness and your unique treatment goals.

My Background and Approach

I am committed to partnering with you in a manner that feels comfortable and helpful to you, as I believe that goodness of fit is essential for therapy to be truly effective. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, eating disorders, depression, and trauma/PTSD. I am skilled in helping clients who are struggling with relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity and self-esteem concerns, and substance use. I approach my work with all of my clients with trauma-informed care and attachment theory in mind. I am trained to use a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am committed to being an inclusive, affirming therapist and I welcome working with people of all cultures, identities, and beliefs. In all areas of my life, I strive to approach my interactions with others with unconditional positive regard. Unconditional positive regard, pioneered by Carl Rogers, is a guiding, central value for me. One way it can be defined is a belief that every human being is worthy of respect, is lovable, has their own free will, and are doing the best they can at any given moment.
