In my private practice, I enjoy working with young adults who are interested in developing coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, negative self talk, and navigating relationship challenges. I am also available to provide career counseling and professional development.
My Background and Approach
I believe in creating a safe and judgement-free zone for you to speak your truth. I see my role as an objective listener, someone on the outside, who can help bring clarity and put things into perspective when you are feeling unsettled, overwhelmed, and stuck. Using a collaborative approach, together we would uncover behavior and thinking patterns that might be getting in your way. I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach. You are unique, and I seek to understand how your life experiences have shaped you. Together we will identify or customize strategies that work best for you. My practice is informed by my diverse work experiences in both community-based and mission-driven organizations, which uniquely position me to understand the way social, economic, and political systems impact us day-to-day. Additionally, as a South Asian American, I understand the nuances of belonging, identity, overcoming stigma, and negotiating family/cultural expectations.
