About My Clients
I have worked with adults, young adults, teens, parents, couples & siblings, on a broad range of issues, including behavioral addictions, eating disorders, relationships, sex, chronic pain, grief, trauma, religion & spirituality, anxiety & depression. I have worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds and identities, and have expertise in working with Jewish and LGBTQ+ communities.
My Background and Approach
I offer an open, empathetic, and non-judgmental space to explore your life experiences, different identities, and impacts of oppression while shifting from feelings of shame or blame towards self-acceptance and goals of your choosing, whether those be internal or external. I draw from trainings in a variety of philosophies and modalities, including: psychodynamic, trauma-informed, internal family systems (parts work), mindfulness practice, and some CBT and DBT. I graduated from NYU Silver School for Social Work in 2015, where I did graduate research on healing from collective trauma. Certifications: Level 1 Internal Family Systems, Youth Mental Health First Aid, Level 1 Gottman Institute Couples Therapy
