About My Clients
If your child or teenager is experiencing overwhelming emotions, feeling disconnected, or trapped in a cycle of anxiety, you are not alone. I work with kids and teens who feel things intensely or shut down under pressure. They may struggle with self-harm, experience intense mood swings, or have a nervous system that is constantly on high alert. I help them find their balance, learn practical skills to navigate crises, and transform their deepest vulnerabilities into their greatest strengths.
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy for young people should go beyond just "talking about" problems. My approach is warm, active, and deeply relational. Here is how we will work together: AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy): We don't just analyze past pain; we actively process emotions in the room together. I ensure your child never feels alone in their hardest moments, building immediate safety and emotional healing. DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): I provide concrete, real-world skills to manage intense distress, regulate moods, and improve relationships. It’s the "how-to" manual for navigating tough days. Somatic & Mind-Body Work: Trauma and anxiety live in the body. By tuning into the physical nervous system, I teach kids and teens how to soothe their own fight-or-flight responses, helping them feel truly safe in their own skin. Together, we’ll build a toolkit that helps them connect from the inside out.
