About My Clients
Have you ever asked yourself, "What is wrong with me?" and felt ashamed for having needs, evoking a sense of powerlessness? I am a bilingual therapist who speaks Spanish. I hope you know how wonderful you are. I have experience with anxiety, trauma, shame, life transitions, and depression working with children, adolescents, and college students.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, meaning we would focus on attachment wounds to repair ruptures together. I equally integrate somatic approaches (we connect with our bodies to notice sensations and move through them. Our bodies are a resource.)
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I see therapy as a collaborative experience that makes space for common ground and space to acknowledge differences. I'll work with you to identify your therapy goals and determine the best approach, drawing from relational, body and mindfulness-based therapies. Embracing yourself as you are is the first step towards desired change.
