About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who may be overthinking, struggling with confidence or self-esteem, navigating complicated relationships, or trying to understand themselves and their patterns better. I also work with couples who want to feel more connected, understand each other more deeply, and communicate more openly. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy—we can start with whatever is going on in your life right now.
My Background and Approach
My approach is person-centered, relational, and conversational. I don’t believe therapy needs to feel overly clinical or like you’re being analyzed. I want our sessions to feel like a real conversation where you can be honest, curious, and fully yourself. I’ll listen closely, reflect what I’m noticing, ask questions, and challenge you when it feels helpful. We may explore family dynamics, past relationships, and earlier experiences to better understand the patterns showing up in your life today. I draw from attachment, family systems, emotion-focused, narrative, and strengths-based approaches, adapting therapy to the person in front of me rather than following a one-size-fits-all formula.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make sense in the context of their experiences. The ways we cope, relate to others, and see ourselves often have a history behind them. I also believe people need connection, belonging, purpose, play, and meaningful relationships outside of therapy. Therapy can be a place to understand yourself more deeply, but the goal isn’t to stay in therapy forever—it’s to build a life that feels more connected, fulfilling, and like your own. I value curiosity over judgment and believe there is rarely one “right” way to move through life. My role isn’t to tell you who to be, but to help you understand yourself, trust yourself, and make choices that feel true to you.
