About My Clients
I have experience working with have been domestic violence, trauma, relationship concerns, depression, anxiety, and healing emotional wounds. Clients I have worked with range in concerns, my effort is, firstly, to be a support, to be a safe space for any client that has a desire to overcome their difficulties.
My Background and Approach
My approach is centered on you as a person, creating a safe space for exploring and processing your experiences. Using trauma-informed care, I aim to help you feel understood and supported. A key part of our work includes somatic practices, focusing on tuning into your body’s wisdom. Our bodies hold the imprint of past experiences, and listening to these signals can be a powerful tool for healing. I’m trained in EMDR and have a Yoga Teacher Training to enhance my holistic approach to healing. In our sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. We'll focus on processing challenges while building emotional resilience. A key part of our work will involve somatic practices, helping you tune into your body's sensations and learn how stress or emotions may manifest physically. Through body awareness, mindfulness, and grounding techniques, we'll support your healing process from both a mental and physical perspective.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a first-generation immigrant, I often felt out of place—whether in school, struggling with language barriers, or in my community, where cultural differences were hard to bridge. Seeing my family face financial hardship and limited access to care deeply influenced my decision to become a therapist. I want to be a provider who truly understands the complexities of trauma. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive space where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported in their healing journey.
