I provide psycho-somatic therapy for individuals, families, and partners. Issues I focus on are adoption and other things stemming from trauma and attachment, relationships (monogamous and non-monogamous), and marginalized identities. For a more in-depth description, please check out my website!
My Background and Approach
I approach everyone through a trauma-informed, social-justice, critical-race theory, systemic, and feminist lens. I believe in exploring every part of an individual which includes your history, culture, experiences, and the systems you come into contact with. I come from an attachment-based perspective when working with relationships and individuals as it helps us form a foundation of understanding about how we interact and relate to those around us. I use a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic, and mind/body techniques. I also offer EMDR.
