My Background and Approach
I provide a warm, empathetic and non-judgmental space where we will work collaboratively to help you gain insight and understanding into the causes of and ways to reduce emotional distress. I am psychodynamically trained, and integrate evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I have certificates in Contemporary Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, Family-Based Treatment of Eating Disorders in Adolescents: The Maudsley Method (Step 1) and CBT-E for Eating Disorders.
