Ever wonder when you last felt connected to your child? The relationships we have with our future and current family are the foundation for the relationships we form outside of our family. Working with a therapist's support can help you learn how to navigate and work through parenthood's toughest challenges.
My Background and Approach
It is important for us to understand how your past impacts your present. We will work on understanding what you are currently experiencing, how your past impacts this experience, and what tools are best suited for the future of your challenges. In session, we spend time building a relationship and working through issues at your pace. I have training in evidence-based practicees such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and The Safe and Sound Protocol. I continue to obtain professional training so I can add to my repertoire of ways to tailor my support to client's needs. Additionally, I attend and connect with professional training and information groups to further my knowledge and connect with other professionals from all over the world on such rapidly evolving topics as maternal mental health.
