About My Clients
My ideal clients are neurodivergent youth, young adults, and adults—including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)—working toward greater independence. They often come to me feeling misunderstood by past support systems, struggling with life skills, relationships, work or school settings, anxiety, or depression. Parents also reach out for coaching, even if their child isn't my client.
My Background and Approach
I’m a therapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Social Work Candidate (SWC) in Colorado, currently earning hours toward my Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) under supervision (anticipated October). I specialize in supporting youth and young adults, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as neurodivergent and “neurospicy” individuals. Much of my work focuses on transition-age youth (18–21) as they build independence and navigate life after high school, including developing life skills, communication, and confidence in daily living.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach is strengths-based, empathetic, warm, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they work through anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with a wide range of youth and young adults, including those experiencing crisis, school challenges, or significant stress. Whether we’re building coping skills, improving executive functioning, or navigating big life changes, I focus on practical, individualized support that meets each person where they are.
