About My Clients

I often work with LGBTQ+ adults, neurodivergent individuals, and trauma survivors. Many of my clients have spent years adapting to environments that didn't fully understand them, leaving them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like they have to work harder just to get through everyday life. I also enjoy working with athletes, healthcare professionals, first responders, and students. Our work will be grounded in safety and trust no matter the identity and background of my client.

My Background and Approach

My goal is to create the space for you to connect with your own innate wisdom and healing intelligence. I will meet you in session with presence, empathy, and non-judgment. My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and grounded in curiosity and compassion. I draw from somatic therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to tailor treatment to your unique needs. I aim to work together in developing the safety necessary for clients to process trauma, explore identity, strengthen emotion regulation, connect with their values, and develop lasting healthy patterns of living. This is a space where you don't have to perform, mask, or have everything figured out, just show up exactly as you are.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that each person has an inner wisdom that can be reconnected with. Throughout life, especially after hardship or trauma, we often develop protective patterns that help us survive and navigate difficult situations. These protections serve an important purpose, but over time they can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves. I believe healing is about gently reconnecting with your truest core self, the part of you that existed before you had to adapt, hide, or protect yourself. Therapy can be a space to understand the ways you have learned to cope, honor the experiences that shaped you, and create new ways of relating to yourself and the world. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect as you heal and grow.
