About My Clients
Many of the clients I work with feel stuck in cycles of worry, overthinking, or self-doubt. They often appear capable on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed or uncertain. I especially enjoy supporting adolescents and young adults navigating identity development and major life transitions, while also welcoming individuals of all ages seeking thoughtful, supportive care.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During my clinical training, I worked with adults ages 18–75 and completed my internship in a private practice alongside experienced clinicians. I also volunteered for two years with a crisis text line, supporting individuals in high-stress situations and helping de-escalate intense emotional moments. My approach is client-centered and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel heard, respected, and able to openly share their experiences, especially when they may not feel listened to elsewhere. I work alongside clients as active participants in their care while offering guidance and support. I draw from CBT, EFT, and ACT to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop practical coping tools, and learn how to respond to life’s challenges in ways that feel more intentional and within their control.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to feel respected, accepted, and supported within their community and in the therapy space. I strive to create an environment where clients of all identities feel safe being fully themselves. My goal is to offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their experiences, feel heard, and work toward meaningful growth.
