About My Clients

I work best with adults, couples, and families navigating stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting challenges, ADHD, and cultural identity concerns. Many of my clients are seeking clarity, emotional healing, and a deeper connection with themselves. I especially enjoy supporting those balancing multiple roles or adapting to new identities, helping them build resilience and live authentically.

My Background and Approach

I hold a BA in Biochemistry and Psychology from Brandeis University, an MA in Human Development from Columbia University, and an MA in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from NYU. My background in both science and psychology allows me to integrate evidence-based approaches with a deep understanding of human behavior. I specialize in supporting clients through stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, ADHD, and identity exploration. Drawing from person-centered therapy, ACT, emotionally focused therapy, IFS, and mindfulness-based practices, I tailor each session to your needs and goals. My bilingual ability in English and Mandarin enables me to work across cultures with sensitivity and insight. I bring an empathetic, nonjudgmental approach that helps you feel safe to explore, heal, and grow—empowering you to reconnect with your values, build resilience, and create meaningful change in your life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive spaces where people feel seen and understood. Having lived and studied abroad since I was 15, I deeply understand the challenges of navigating cultural differences, identity, and belonging. As a parent, I bring empathy for the joys and struggles of family life, and I value openness, curiosity, and our shared humanity. I respect each person’s unique story while recognizing the similarities that connect us all. Outside of my clinical work, I actively engage in community education and mental health advocacy. I develop resources for bilingual families, design programs to support parents raising multilingual children, and organize book discussions and workshops on trauma, healing, and resilience. These projects reflect my belief that education, connection, and open dialogue can foster both personal and collective growth.
