About My Clients
I work with all individuals, couples, and families, navigating life transitions, relationships, anxiety, identity exploration, career stress, Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Autism, ADHD, grief & loss, and emotional overwhelm in all areas of life. I also enjoy supporting children and teens in building emotional resilience. My ideal client is open to growth, curious about their inner world, and ready to explore new ways of understanding themselves and their relationships in a safe, collaborative space.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from UC Irvine with a B.A. in Psychological Sciences and earned my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from National University. Before becoming an MFT therapist, I worked for over two years as an ABA therapist, supporting children and young adults (ages 2–22) with Autism and Down syndrome in developing communication, behavioral, and social skills. This experience strengthened my passion for working with neurodiverse individuals and families. My therapeutic approach is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients understand and shift unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. However, I also integrate tools from various modalities, including mindfulness, narrative therapy, and family systems, to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. I value meeting clients where they are emotionally, culturally, and developmentally, and believe in fostering a collaborative, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space for healing, exploration, and growth.
