About My Clients
Currently, I am working with adults that have depressive, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma related disorders. If you have depressed mood, lack of motivation, feel on the verge of panic, have trouble concentrating, or feel generally overwhelmed with life - there are various modalities that can reduce or alleviate symptoms including counseling and/or medication management. It is important to explore all possible options so that you can make the best, and most informed decision for your treatment.
My Background and Approach
I have 15-years of healthcare experience with an integrative and holistic approach including diagnostic evaluation and evidence based treatment selection. I have level 1 iRest teacher training, which is an evidence-based protocol used for the treatment of PTSD. Additionally, I am a ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) provider since 2019. I have experience in psychedelic harm reduction and integration, and have had psychedelic continuing education for over 7-years. I utilize an evidence based approach for medication management. I have worked in various settings including community mental health, primary care, and inpatient with adolescents, adults and older adults. I have worked closely with primary care providers in giving both education and consultation recommendations for mental health. I can also collaborate with your therapist if you already have one, or work closely with your primary care provider so that you have the most up-to-date recommendations for your care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves the right to healing in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment that promotes expression and collaboration. Empowerment in your sovereignty is central so that you can make decisions that align with your healing path. I work with people of all backgrounds, and have for most of my career worked with various marginalized and underserved groups. I welcome you to reach out if you have any questions. On a more personal note, I enjoy yin and restorative yoga, studying yogic philosophy, writing, good tea, spending time with family and friends, and hiking. I grew up in a military town and come from a multicultural background.
