I am trained in and practice utilizing Cognitive Processing therapy (CPT) to treat PTSD. CPT is an evidence based treatment that utilizes a narrative based on one specific incident of the trauma. The narrative is combined with cognitive therapy that targets specific thoughts that can impede the healing process. This method allows for generalizations to other aspects of the trauma. This treatment no only promotes healing but allows the client to recover and thrive.

Experienced in providing therapy for discovering sexual identity and the coming out process. I support individuals with discovering gender identity and managing all aspects of transitioning including gender affirming medications and surgery. I provide letters for clients seeking gender affirming surgery. I also having experience in same sex couples therapy, non-traditional relationships and kink. I am a sex positive therapist.

I have 40 hours of domestic violence training and have volunteered as as Crisis Intervention Specialist. I have knowledge and experience with temporary restraining orders, court processes, permanent restraining orders and resources available to victims of domestic violence and their families.
