About My Clients
We welcome adults of any race, religion, culture, orientation, identity, and relationship lifestyle. I offer therapy in English and Cantonese and are passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ and Veteran communities. I genuinely care for you and see you as a human being (not a problem to fix). I want you to gain awareness, support, and resources to improve and sustain your mental wellness—to the point where you don’t need me anymore.
My Background and Approach
Dealing with life’s challenges sometimes feels like being trapped in quicksand—the harder you fight to get out of it, the deeper you sink. Exhausting, right? When stress, hopelessness, painful incidents, or risky habits prevail, enjoying the present becomes quite difficult. Your past wounds and current hardship may take over, clouding the road to your future. You crave clarity, meaning, and validation. You want to get out of this rut to find fulfillment and happiness but are unsure how. The good news is: you can figure it out, understand yourself better, and reach your dream goals— and I’m here to guide you on that path. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or porn and sex addiction, I’m honored to support you. I specialize in helping adults get to know themselves and feel empowered to advocate for their well-being. As we work together, you will reflect, expand your awareness, and gain tools to manage adversity and grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I was born in Hong Kong and served in the US Army, which motivated me to assist Veterans and diverse cultures. My style is casual and caring, focused on addressing your unique needs. I use cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy, among other methods, and I’m training to be a certified sex addiction therapist.
