About My Clients
I want to hear your story. You may have a clear sense of what you want to address, such as obsessions/compulsions, or symptoms of anxiety or depression. On the other hand, your struggle might not be so clear-cut. It is often hard to know exactly what is wrong, what our feelings are, or what change would be possible or meaningful. Either way, I am here to help. My hope is to empower you to be more self-aware, and feel freer and more alive as a result.
My Background and Approach
I help clients dig deeper. This can involve using a variety of approaches from ACT, to DBT, to CBT, but my overarching framework is psychodynamic. This means I place a lot of importance on developing a compassionate understanding of how past traumas and relationships color our present experience of ourselves, the world, and our work together.
