About My Clients
I provide individual therapy sessions for children, adolescents, adults, and couples and tailor the approach to fit the clients' needs. Some modalities: person-centered strengths based therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and neurofeedback. I work with treating anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorders, Schizophrenia and related disorders, personality disorders, Autism, and addiction
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy is a catalyst for change and I use the space to help a person make changes to become better versions of themselves. I work very closely with clients and help them understand the therapeutic process and take it as slowly (or quickly) as needed. My goal is to help you navigate through whatever issues arise and help them learn tools and skills to cope more efficiently. I am direct in my approach and use the time we have together to make sure you only move forward. I have been in all different types of trainings from understanding racial and cultural issues, suicide prevention, to behavioral therapies to really support the client to the best of my ability. Resilience and change are two of my favorite words to use and I want my clients to see them the way I see them.
