My Background and Approach
My approach is body-centered, relational and mindfulness-based. I believe that an “experience”, or a direct encounter with sensations, memories, images, thoughts and feelings, is a more powerful and lasting agent for change than cognitive “understanding” alone. During our time together, I will turn our attention to your whole being, which includes not only your mind, where you weave stories and create meaning but also your body, where you sense and feel, as well. I will also explore the relational experience that arises between us as this usually informs us of what arises within other relationships in your life.
