About My Clients
Are you ready to call a truce with negative self-talk? Tired of burnout, people-pleasing, and overthinking? Want to break up with Impostor Syndrome? Undiagnosed, but pretty sure something’s off? You may carry emotional exhaustion or chronic stress while trying to anticipate others' needs. If you want boundaries, self-compassion, and authentic connection in a space where your queer identity, neurodivergence, and lived experience are truly seen, you’re in the right place.
My Background and Approach
I’m a queer and neurodivergent affirming therapist who helps clients manage burnout, people-pleasing, ADHD, and overthinking. Using a holistic, integrative approach with life-pattern exploration and geek therapy, I support you in building self-compassion, insight, self-management strategies, boundaries, and sustainable resilience. I have 5 years of experience supporting the neurodivergent LGBTQ+ adults through ditching self-abandonment with my integrative, evidence-based approach. My work incorporates socially-conscious principles, including decolonized, anti-capitalist, and anti-racist therapy, creating a space that recognizes systemic oppression, cultural trauma, and social justice while helping you connect with your authentic self. I also integrate geek therapy, using pop culture, fandoms, gaming, and storytelling as tools for growth, reflection, and emotional insight.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, social justice is extremely important to me. I have marched for the Black Lives Matter movement, volunteered with the Feminist Women's Health Center of Atlanta, led a workshop on working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, and actively contact my representatives to advocate for marginalized populations. I believe social work and therapy are political fields and it is my ethical duty to not be passive or neutral in times of crisis. I am constantly working to unlearn my own biases and strive to decolonize my therapeutic approach. My motto as it relates to mental health is "everything in the DSM boils down to either trauma or capitalism". I also stand, unequivocally, in solidarity with Palestinian liberation.
