About My Clients
I work best with children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity, or life transitions. I also support individuals and families impacted by addiction, and couples facing infertility. My ideal clients are ready to explore, heal, and grow—even if they’re not sure where to begin. I meet you where you are with empathy and care.
My Background and Approach
I’m a graduate student and intern at Capella University, working toward my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on children and adolescents. My background as a high school educator and student support advocate shaped my passion for helping young people build emotional resilience and self-awareness. I hold a certificate in addictive behaviors, which allows me to support individuals and families impacted by substance use with understanding and compassion. I also have a deep commitment to working with couples navigating the emotional toll of infertility, providing a safe space to process, connect, and heal. My approach blends Gestalt therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered principles. This means our work together is grounded in empathy, present-moment awareness, and a belief in your capacity for growth. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the power of empathy, connection, and advocacy. My work is rooted in social justice, and I’m committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for all identities. As a former educator, I’m especially passionate about empowering youth and advocating for mental health access in schools and underserved communities. I approach therapy with cultural humility, deep respect for lived experience, and a belief that healing happens when we feel safe, heard, and valued.
