About My Clients
I treat individuals impacted by Anxiety, Panic, Grief, and Trauma. I specialize in LGBTQ Well-Being & Reproductive Mental Health: Premenstrual, PMDD, Family Planning, Prenatal Anxiety, Birth and Postpartum Depression concerns. In my years of practice, I have helped survivors of sexual abuse, violence, war, illness, injury, ideation & loss. Together, we can honor your story holistically. Your surroundings, history, cultural background, support systems, health and passions are important to me.
My Background and Approach
I received my masters in Mental Health & Psychological Counseling from Columbia University, with specialized training in Reproductive & Maternal Well-Being. I am also a DONA International Doula, which means I am passionate about providing holistic focused care to people as they navigate premenstrual - PMDD, STD, fertility, family planning, prenatal, loss or postpartum mental health & adjustment concerns. My clinical experiences include maternal care, child developmental monitoring; group private practice; hospital settings: Mount Sinai & New York Memory Center; and university mental healthcare settings: providing crisis counseling & neurodiversity services to CUNY & SUNY student populations.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in encouraging personal growth through education, cultural awareness, and building trusting relationships. I believe that each individual deserves to receive care that is inclusive and whole person focused. I believe that in processing trauma, creating trust and safety comes first, followed by examining values with unbiased, strength-driven self-compassion. As a queer therapist, I aim to create a safe space for all identities to connect to resources and nurture community.
