About My Clients
My passion is working creatively with children and adults to cope with life’s changes and build fundamental skills. I specialize in neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+, parenting stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I received BAs in Theatre and Psychology from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and families and almost 7 years of experience utilizing expressive arts therapy. My primary modalities include art of all kinds, sandtray work, play therapy techniques, mindfulness, somatic awareness, Collaborative Problem-Solving, and more. In my free time, I enjoy quality time with friends, musical theatre, tabletop RPG, playing with my dogs and cat, making art, and getting fresh air outside (when it's not too cold).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all human beings deserve access to affordable healthcare, food, education, housing, and community. Come as you are, you are valued, you are enough. Don't let imperialist capitalism tell you otherwise.
