About My Clients
Have you ever felt stuck in life, unsure how to start making changes? Changes can be uncomfortable and even intimidating—but you don’t have to face it alone. I am here to accompany individuals like you move past obstacles and embrace changes at your own pace. Together, we’ll explore how personal and sociocultural factors shape your lived experiences, deepening your awareness and then cultivating self-compassion, clarity, and motivation. With this foundation, meaningful change becomes possible.
My Background and Approach
I have a decade of experience providing care across various settings, including university counseling centers, hospitals, and community mental health clinics. My work includes individual and group therapy, clinical supervision, teaching/training, and consultation. I am also a certified yoga instructor. I offer culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies for anxiety, OCD, trauma, disordered eating, and identity exploration. Using a relational and cultural approach, I help clients deepen their self-understanding and cultivate self-compassion. I meet clients where they are and support them in increasing their readiness for change. I use a client-centered/personalized approach and integrate a variety of interventions to facilitate self-compassion and support clients in making desired changes. In therapy sessions, I am attuned to clients' needs, help clients feel safe and understood, and then challenge clients' resistance to change in a supportive manner.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As both a licensed clinical psychologist and a certified yoga instructor, I strive to bridge the gap between evidence-based psychotherapy and practice-based healing. My mission is to walk alongside individuals on their journey toward holistic wellness, offering a culturally sensitive space that honors individual’s lived experience while actively working to decolonize mental health practices
