About My Clients
I work with South Asian and BIPOC individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity conflict, intergenerational family dynamics, people-pleasing, and chronic health conditions like PCOS, thyroid disorders, and cancer-related stress. Many are high-functioning but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in guilt and shame patterns. I also support those in life transitions seeking to unlearn old patterns, set boundaries, and reconnect with themselves in a culturally attuned space.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed mental health therapist in New York and Pennsylvania with specialized training in trauma-informed care and integrative psychotherapy. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in Neuropsychology from University College London (UCL), which informs my understanding of the mind–body connection, including how stress, trauma, and chronic health conditions impact both emotional and neurological functioning. Clinically, I have experience working with South Asian and BIPOC individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity conflict, intergenerational family dynamics, people-pleasing, and chronic health conditions such as PCOS, thyroid disorders, and cancer-related emotional stress. I also support clients through life transitions, relationship challenges, boundary-setting, and cultural identity exploration. My work integrates evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, IFS, and EMDR, allowing clients to both

A core belief in my work is that healing does not require rejecting your culture, but rather making room for your full self within it. I am passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health in South Asian and BIPOC communities, where conversations about anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional needs are often minimized or avoided. I also hold strong values around equity, inclusion, and social justice, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen beyond labels or stereotypes. I am especially attuned to the impact of systemic stressors, intergenerational trauma, and cultu
