About My Clients

Therapy is a space where you can finally set everything down—the worries, the expectations, the overwhelm—and begin to understand yourself in a deeper, more compassionate way. My goal is to help every client feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether you’re coming to therapy as an individual, as part of a couple, or as a family, I want you to recognize that this is a place where your unique experiences matter. Therapy is a space where you can breathe, reflect, and grow.

My Background and Approach

I have extensive experience working with clients navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, behavioral issues, family stress, identity-related concerns, and significant life transitions. I’ve supported individuals who feel overwhelmed by daily responsibilities, teens who are struggling to find their place in the world, couples searching for connection, and families working to communicate more effectively. My background includes training in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Solution-Focused Therapy, and compassion-centered techniques. I integrate each approach based on the unique needs, goals, and personalities of my clients. My work is also influenced by an intuitive awareness of how people feel and express emotions—an awareness that helps me connect with clients genuinely and authentically.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

One of my core beliefs is that every person has the capacity to change, heal, and rebuild their life, no matter what challenges they’ve faced. Supporting individuals in recovery is something I feel genuinely passionate about. Witnessing someone take that brave first step toward ending a harmful pattern and choosing a healthier path is incredibly meaningful to me. Recovery is not linear—there are ups, downs, and moments of uncertainty—but every step toward healing matters. I believe that when someone decides to let go of a negative coping strategy and replace it with healthier, more sustainable tools, they are engaging in one of the most powerful forms of self-love and transformation. I approach recovery-focused work with empathy, patience, and nonjudgment. I understand that substance use often begins as an attempt to cope with pain, stress, trauma, or emotional overwhelm. My role is not to judge those past patterns, but to help clients develop new coping skills.
